1. Who we are
TappAdvisor operates the Service. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why. Contact: legal@tappadvisor.com.
2. Data we collect
Account details; the business profile you publish (public by design); usage events such as taps, review-button clicks and checkout-link clicks, with time and source; enquiries customers submit through a business’s lead form (name, contact details, message); photos you upload (public once your page is live); and demo requests.
3. Roles for customer enquiries
When a customer sends an enquiry to a business, that business decides how the details are used and is responsible for them. We host and deliver them on the business’s behalf.
4. How we use data
To run and secure the Service, show pages and the directory, provide analytics to business owners, respond to requests, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Sharing
With service providers who host and operate the Service, and where required by law. The review button leads to Google and payment or booking links lead to other providers; their privacy policies apply once you leave our pages.
6. Cookies and storage
We use only storage needed to operate the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Retention
We keep data while an account is active and as needed for legal purposes, then delete or anonymise it. Business owners may delete their page and data on request.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object to processing. Contact legal@tappadvisor.com. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards where required.
