Terms of Service

1. About these terms
These Terms govern your use of TappAdvisor’s website, NFC stands, hosted business pages and public directory (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. We are a platform, not the businesses listed
TappAdvisor is a technology platform and directory. Businesses on the Service are independent third parties. We do not own, operate, control, verify or endorse any business, and we are not a party to any booking, quote, purchase, subscription or other agreement between a customer and a business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TappAdvisor has no liability for any act or omission of a listed business, or for the quality, safety, legality, pricing, delivery, refund or any other aspect of its products or services, or for any loss or dispute arising from your dealings with one. Any claim must be brought against that business, not TappAdvisor.
3. Business accounts
If you create a page, you confirm your information is accurate and you have the right to publish it, including any photos you upload. You are solely responsible for your content, products, prices, taxes, licences, refunds, customer communications and compliance with consumer, advertising and data-protection laws. You must send every customer to the same review link and must not filter, gate, incentivise or discourage reviews.
4. Reviews
Reviews are written on Google and governed by Google’s terms. We do not write, edit, moderate or remove them and do not guarantee any rating or result.
5. Third-party services and payments
Payment links, booking tools, social profiles and other third-party services are provided by their operators under their own terms. TappAdvisor does not process payments or hold funds for businesses, and is not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their conduct.
6. Pro plan and stands
Basic pages are free for everyone and no stand is needed. NFC stands are sold separately as one-time purchases at the prices shown on the Pricing page and ship pre-programmed to your page’s link. Pro is billed monthly at the price shown on the Pricing page and adds sales tools; you may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, after which your page reverts to Basic. You keep any stands you have bought and your free page. Stand shipping and returns are subject to the order terms shown at purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service unlawfully, post misleading, infringing or harmful content, interfere with the Service, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and its software and branding. You keep ownership of your content and grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the Service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TappAdvisor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months or US$100.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify TappAdvisor against claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your products or services, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove pages that breach these Terms or the law. You may close your page at any time.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION: to be completed before launch], and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
